CHICAGO, IL (2016, March) — The Brazilian Plastic Pavillion will feature 38 companies and their attractive plastic housewares at the Home & Housewares International Show in Chicago, from Saturday, March 5th through Tuesday, March 8th. They will showcase their portfolio of tableware, kitchenware, bath ware, organizers, office and stationery products and much more in the North Pavilion, Booth # N7963. Brazilian plastic housewares are highly appreciated for their quality, diversity and creative design.

Many of those companies will also participate in the Global Design Points Gallery, where the products representing Brazilian design will be showcased.

Appreciated for their quality, diversity and creative design, Brazilian plastic housewares will, once again, be presented at the the Think Plastic Brazil Program booth at the Home & Housewares International Show, in Chicago (IL).  Thirty eight Brazilian companies will showcase their portfolio of tableware, kitchenware, bathware, organizers, office and stationery products and much more at McCormick Place North Pavillion, Booth #N7963 from from Saturday, March 5th through Tuesday, March 8th.

This trade show is very important to our members with focus in North, Central and Latin America and we have an outstanding lineup of colorful new products from our participating vendors,” said Marco Wydra, Executive Manager of Think Plastic Brazil, the export promotion program of converted plastic products carried out by the Brazilian Plastic Institute and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).

Last year, with 22 companies, the Brazilian Pavillion generated more than 340 qualified contacts with international buyers, USD 510.000 in business deals on site and over USD 5,8 million in estimated deals for the following 12 months.

About Think Plastic Brazil Program

Think Plastic Brazil Program was created in December 2003 to promote the exports of converted plastic products under the coordination of Brazilian Plastic Institute – INP and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency – Apex-Brasil. It offers Brazilian supply sources, production outsourcing and partnership to foreign industries and markets, and counts on a highly skilled team. It acts as an interface between Brazilian manufacturers and international buyers of plastic products. The objective of Think Plastic Brazil is to increase the exports of finished plastic products by encouraging Brazilian converters to venture into exports, to help them develop and expand their overseas business and to establish a substantial international operation.

Brazilian design in plastics at Ambiente 2016

Appreciated for their quality, diversity and creative design, Brazilian plastic housewares will, once again, be presented at the the Think Plastic Brazil Program booth at the Ambiente show, in Frankfurt.  Nine Brazilian companies will showcase their portfolio of tableware, kitchenware, bathware, organizers, office and stationery products and much more at Messe Frankfurt, Hall 5.0, Booth #C44 from February 12th to 16th.

“Ambiente show is an excellent opportunity to get in touch with buyers from Europe and Africa, a very important event in our annual calendar,” says Marco Wydra, executive-manager of the Think Plastic Brazil program.

Last year, with 8 companies, the Brazilian Pavillion generated more than 140 qualified contacts with international buyers, USD 42.000 in business deals on site and over USD 2,2 million in estimated deals for the following 12 months.

BRINOX – The Brinox Group is one of the largest manufactures of housewares in Brazil, was founded in 1988 in the industrial hub of Caxias do Sul. Coza is the major brand of plastic housewares with design and has more than 50 nacional and international design awards that recognize and prove the quality and innovation of the brand design.

JAGUAR – Established in the market for more than 30 years, Jaguar offers three lines: Housewares, with more than 200 products, Industrial Packaging and Taylor Made Projects.

MAXEB – Founded in 1961, MAXEB having exported to over 30 countries and being present at major retail chains such as: Wal Mart, Carrefour, Casino, Leroy Merlin, Saint Gobain, Sodimac and others. The products merge the best features of design with functionality and quality.

METALTRU – Metaltru is a inovative company that is known for its dynamism and creativity of mixing materials. Producing everything inside the industry Metaltru always offers a wide range of solutions for its customers.

OU – Ou is located in southern Brazil at the industrial park of the city of Caxias do Sul – RS. Our company specializes in creating, developing and manufacturing decoration, organization and houseware items. Ou has been a prominent feature among the most innovating companies in Brazil for over 10 years by investing in technical development and design.

PLASUTIL – Plasutil has started the activities in 1986 and became the main plastic house utilities company in Brazil. This Strong leadership consolidated thanks to the continuous process of development of products, supported by a high technology manufacturing process and motivated team of employees.

SÃO BERNARDO – Founded in 1959, its line includes around 200 household utensils, such as tool boxes, shelves, set of drawers and CD-cases, that are sold all over Brazil, and are also export to more than 20 countries.

TERMOLAR – It has been 56 years that TERMOLAR offers to the market, thermal conservation solutions with high quality and compromised with our partners. We produce 8 million products annually destined to different environments: work, home and leisure.

YUZE – Yuze is an innovative company, which began its activities in 2012, being the first Brazilian firm using advanced ceramics in the domestic housewares market.
The start of activities took place with a market research and two types of products: a knife sharpener and ceramic knives. Currently, the company focuses on strengthening its distribution channels, through its network of sales representatives in Brazil but is also seeking business opportunities abroad.

ABOUT THINK PLASTIC BRAZIL PROGRAM

The Think Plastic Brazil Program was created in December 2003, when the Brazilian integrated plastic chain, ranked among the 10 largest in the world and renowned or its advanced skilled workforce, in partnership with the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade through Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), took the decision to promote the exports of converted plastic products under the coordination of the Brazilian Plastic Institute (INP).

The program counts more than 100 associated companies, half of them specialized in plastic housewares products. These companies export to more than 86 countries in Europe, North and South Americas and Africa. Their exports in 2015 were about US$ 251 million, a value increase of 6,2% compared to 2014.
