Brazilian Companies at Home and Housewares 2017

Known as per their diversity, quality and creative design, Brazilian plastic housewares will be presented for the 11th consecutive year at the the Think Plastic Brazil Program booth at the Home & Housewares Show, in Chicago.  Thirty six Brazilian companies will showcase their wide portfolio of tableware, kitchenware, bathware, organizers, office & stationery products and much more at McCormick Place, booth N7965, from March 18th to 21th.

 

Last year, with 38 companies, the Brazilian Pavillion generated more than 600 qualified contacts with international buyers, USD 1,9 million in business deals on site and over USD 10,6 million in estimated deals for the following 12 months.

 

The relevant number of Brazilian exhibitors in the event reflects a consistent export program carried out by Think Plastic Brazil, which prepares and encourages plastic producers to venture into exports, presenting to international buyers the Brazilian industry’s competitive differentials. We help Brazilian companies identify business opportunities in the international market, offering quality products at competitive prices”, says Gilberto Agrello, Market Development Specialist at the Think Plastic Brazil program.

 

In the past thirteen years, Brazilian plastic producers have developed business with the major consumer markets in the world, such as the United States, Europe, Latin America and Africa.

 

The program is sponsored by the Brazilian Agency for Export Promotion and Investment (APEX-Brazil) – a Federal Government agency – and by the petrochemical industry, under the coordination of the Brazilian Plastic Institute (INP).

Acrimet

Cisper & CIV

Owens-Illinois, Inc. (NYSE: OI) has been founded in 1903 with the name Owens Bottle Machine Company, it is the biggest glass container manufacturer of the world and main partner for the leaders brands from the foods and beverages markets.  Headquartered in Perrysburg, Ohio, USA, O-I has 80 factories distributed on 23 countries. Future

Itacorda

Martiplast

Martiplast was founded in 1993 and it is located at Caxias do Sul (RS) –  Southern of  Brazil The history of the company started in a small basement with a little bit more than 40m².After several years of developing, its turned into a 20.000m² headquarter having around 12.000 products being displayed in its showroom. In 2007, the brand <OU> was released as a reference in plastic houseware with design and quality lauching  new products every 6 months.

The company is present in more than 5 thousand retail stores throughout Brazil with around 75 Sales Representatives all over the territory, audited by Bureau Veritas in compliance with the standards and certifications.

Mondial

Mondial is a company that offers a complete product line with an emphasis on modern design, quality and suitable price..

It started producing and selling of home appliances in Brazil at year of 1999 with fans, blenders and juicers. Today Mondial is present in all Europe, Africa and Latin America’s market with high quality products.

Pabovi

Pabovi produces hoses for the House and Garden segment and numerous other professional applications like agriculture, industry and building construction. The company dominates the different manufacturing technologies needed to produce high quality products.

Pabovi started in 1986 in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The company has one factory together with its distribution center and investments are made every year to keep the company in pace with market trends, consumer needs and volume increase.

Pabovi sells to 5.000 customers in Brazil and exports to most South and Central American countries and Africa.

 

Plasnew

Plasnew Utildades Domésticas began its production in March 1996, in a small town near São Paulo. Nowadays, the company has 30 injection machines, 250 employees and transforms 900 tons per month.

Its products list has around 350 items, among them housewares articles, plastic furniture, organizers and garden products.

 

Plasutil

Plasutil has started its activities in 1986 and became the main plastic house utilities company in Brazil.

Plasvale

Located in the South Brazil, founded in 1977, Plasvale is one of the major manufacturers of housewares plastics in Brazil, particularly items for the kitchen, cleaning and organization.

Pressca

PRESSCA was launched in 2016 and belongs to Naxos, a company that has been on the market for 60 years. Its production plant is located in the South of Brazil.

Currently the company exports to seven different countries in South America, Central America and North America.

 

Sao Bernardo

Sao Bernardo was founded in 1959, and employs over 150 people in its two facilities located in the State of Sao Paulo. Its portfolio includes around 200 household utensils, such os tool boxes, shelves, set of drawers and food containers that are sold all over Brazil and are also exported to more than 20 countries. The company has an on going policy of investments in up-to-date machinery and in the development of new products folowing international latest trends.

 

Schwanke

Schanke was founded in 1948  transforming textile waste raw material for quilts factories, upholstery and also towels for industrial cleaning. Today, after more than 60 years of investments in research and improvement, the company has two factory plants, both in the state of Santa Catarinam, South of Brazil. It produces 99% of everything that sells and operates in 100% of the national territory and 43 countries mainly in America. It is leader in the cleaning cloth market in Brazil with nonwoven fabric technology. It developed in 2016 the manufacture of 100% recycled  doormats and walking rugs reusing waste car wheels and plastic soda bottles.

 

Simonaggio

Simonaggio is a family company which started in 1973 in Garibaldi, in the south of Brazil. The head office is still located in this city and there is another plant in Imigrante, a nearby city. The company operates in 15.000 square meters distributed in 4 pavilions. It has a large quantity of raw materials in stock, which guarantees fast suply, even to big orders. Nowadays, it has around 350 employees who work in two shifts.

According to a national study, Simonaggio is the second cutlery brand in Brazil. Termolar

Yuze

Yuze is a Brazilian start-up founded in 2013, with a core mission to create, develop and produce innovative kitchenware products with a strong design appeal. Most Yuze products have intellectual property of its own and systems created, such as the suction cup system (patent pending), that are applied in some products. In its product mix, yuze has 7 products with color variation and new products to be launched in 2017.

Yuze have a production capacity of 10,000 unit/month of its knife sharpener and 2,000 units/month of the others products. Brazilian design in plastics at Ambiente 2016

Appreciated for their quality, diversity and creative design, Brazilian plastic housewares will, once again, be presented at the the Think Plastic Brazil Program booth at the Ambiente show, in Frankfurt.  Nine Brazilian companies will showcase their portfolio of tableware, kitchenware, bathware, organizers, office and stationery products and much more at Messe Frankfurt, Hall 5.0, Booth #C44 from February 12th to 16th.

“Ambiente show is an excellent opportunity to get in touch with buyers from Europe and Africa, a very important event in our annual calendar,” says Marco Wydra, executive-manager of the Think Plastic Brazil program.

For the third consecutive year, the Export Plastic Program brings the best in plastic housewares from Brazil to Ambiente, held from February 11 to February 15 in Frankfurt, Germany.

Seven Brazilian companies will be exposing their portfolio of tableware, kitchenware, bathware, organizers, office and stationery products and more in hall 5.0, booth D45. The Brazilian plastic houseware products are known for its quality, diversity and creative design.

The Export Plastic Program has 70 associated companies, 40 of them specialized in plastic houseware products. These companies export to more than 30 countries in Europe, North and South America and Africa. Their exports of housewares in 2010 were about US$ 36 million, a value increase of 12,5% in 2010 compared to 2009.

In the 2010 edition of Ambiente, 13 Brazilian companies participated in the program’s booth and made 462 contacts with international buyers. The business volume during the show reached US$240,000 in contracts, plus other US$1,5 million expected for the following 12 months.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Export Plastic Program brings the best in plastic housewares from Brazil to Home & Housewares International Show, held from March 6th to March 8th in Chicago, USA.

Twenty four Brazilian manufacturers will be exposing their portfolio of tableware, kitchenware, bathware, organizers, office and stationery products and more in north pavillion, booth N7335. The Brazilian plastic houseware products are known for its quality, diversity and creative design.

One of the attractions the program brings this year is the Brazilian Design Showcase, where visitors will be able to see eight pieces that represent the design from Brazil in products such as pet accessories, lemon squeezers, baskets, woven bins, baby.

The Export Plastic Program brings, for the fourth time, the best in plastic housewares from Brazil to ASD LV Variety & Value Show, held from July 31 to August June 03 in Las Vegas, USA.

Export Plastic Program showcases Brazilian flexible and rigid packaging products in plastic to Andina-Pack 2011

For the fourth time, the Export Plastic Program brings the best in plastic flexible and rigid packaging from Brazil to Andina-Pack, held from November 8th to November 11th in Bogota, Colombia.

Eighteen Brazilian manufacturers will be presenting various types of packaging, BOPP films, laminated /coated films, packaging materials for food industry, beverages and cosmetics industries. Shrink and stretch films, rigid packaging, polypropylene bags, big-bags, bags on rolls, PVC cling film, food containers, industrial packaging, woven PP fabric, plastic disposables, lids, bottles & jars and masterbatches pigments concentrates that the companies will bring companies from Brazil to Colombia. All this can be seen at booth # 629-827.

The Export Plastic Program has more than 70 associated companies, 30 of them specialized in packaging and recognized for its quality and diversity. These companies export to more than 30 countries in Europe, North and South America and Africa. Their exports in 2010 were about US$ 213 million, a value increase of 74,6% in 2010 compared to 2009. Colombia appears, in the first semester of 2011, as the ninth export market for Brazilian plastics.

The Export Plastic Program was created in January 2004 when the Brazilian integrated plastic chain, ranked among the 10 largest in the world and renowned or its high technology as well as for the qualification of its human resources, in partnership with the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade through Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investiment Promotion Agency), took the decision to promote the exports of converted plastic products under the coordination of Brazilian Plastic Institute (INP).

The objective of the Export Plastic Program is to increase the exports of finished plastic products through encouraging Brazilian converters to venture into exports, to help them develop and expand their overseas business and to establish a substantial international operation.

Export Plastic Program brings Brazilian design in plastic housewares to Ambiente 2012

For the fourth consecutive year, the Export Plastic Program brings the best in plastic housewares from Brazil to Ambiente, held from February 10 to February 14 in Frankfurt, Germany.

Eight Brazilian companies will be exposing their portfolio of plastic tableware, kitchenware, bathware and more in hall 5.0, booth C44. The Brazilian plastic houseware products are known for its quality, diversity and creative design.

The Export Plastic Program has 70 associated companies, 40 of them specialized in plastic housewares. These companies export to more than 30 countries in Europe, Africa and North, Central and South America. Their exports of housewares in 2011 (until October) were about US$ 48 million, a value increase of 62% in comparison with the same period in 2010.

In the 2011 edition of Ambiente, 11 Brazilian companies participated in the program’s booth and made 175 contacts with international buyers. The business volume during the show reached US$140,000 in contracts, plus other US$ 2,1 million expected for the following 12 months.
