Editorial Board: Think Plastic Brazil begins the formulation of strategic planning for 5 years

Every two years, INP (National Plastic Institute) and Apex-Brazil (Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments) formulate the Strategic Planning for the export promotion actions that the Think Plastic Brazil Program will execute in the next 2 years. At this moment, we began to formulate a strategic plan with a five-year horizon (2019-2023) and, within it, the actions of the new Strategic Cycle (agreement with Apex-Brazil for the period of the next 2 years – 2nd semester/2019 – 1st semester/2021).

To define the markets for action, the export program has conducted an online survey that will define 40 potential target countries to study. On January 31, 2019 the participating companies will have face-to-face meetings at INP headquarters to qualitatively validate these markets. Following this, an online survey will survey the external (opportunities and threats) and internal (strengths and weaknesses) opportunities, which is information that will serve as support for the formulation of strategies and choosing of projects that can be implemented to deploy such strategies, such as international fairs, buyers’ projects, international missions, courses, innovation and sustainability actions etc.
