Think Plastic Brazil celebrates the agreement’s renewal with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) for the next biennium 2017 – 2019., which supports the internationalization of the companies from the Brazilian plastic transformation sector.

The agreement guarantees the continuity of the actions that help to strengthen the Brazilian Participation at the international market, contributing to the international trade of plastic products (that had an income of almost US$ 1,113 billion in the year 2016). From 2014 to 2016 the project promoted 4.900 business meetings and supported 507 participations of 109 companies in fairs, buyers and seller’s projects as well as workshops. A total of USD108 million was generated in business with the support of the program in three strategic areas: Business Development; Trade Promotion / Communication and Intelligence for Competitive Strategies. During the 13-year journey 164 projects were carried out with 2.901 company participations, 36.556 meetings and USD605,589 million in business.

“We are now entering a new cycle of the program, seeking to understand the companies in a personalized way, attending to their different demands. This individual support is fundamental, as we have a very rich and diverse industry, which has specific needs”, said Miguel Bahiense Neto, project manager at Think Plastic Brazil.
