On April 14, Think Plastic Brazil officially launched the World Plastic Connection Summit, which will take place on August 21-24, 2023 at Blue Tree Premium Alphaville, in São Paulo. The meeting for the press and supporters took place at the Praça São Lourenço restaurant, in Itaim Bibi. “The theme of the event this year will be “Brazil as a Trendsetter in Global Converted Plastics,” in recognition of the Brazilian sector’s position in relation to the major global hubs,” said Carlos Moreira, manager of the Think Plastic Brazil portfolio.

This year’s seminar program already includes internationally recognized names, such as Prof. Dr. Sascha Peters (https://www.linkedin.com/in/prof-dr-sascha-peters-88980421b/), materials specialist, author and honorary professor of materials science in design, who will present innovations in biopolymers for the plastics industry. The event will also count on the participation of sustainable design specialist Susanna Björklund, who will provide updates on the topic from around the world.

Registration for the event, both in person and online, is now open at www.thinkplasticbrazil.com.
