Braskem, a market leader in large-scale biopolymer production, will participate in K 2025. The trade fair will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from October 8 to 15. The company will be located in Hall 6, booth D27. Visitors will also find other Brazilian companies in Hall 8B, booth H30, at the Brazilian Colors and Solutions space, enabled and coordinated by Think Plastic Brazil — a portfolio of solutions for the internationalization of the converted plastics sector, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and the INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute) —, in conjunction with the ApexBrasil +Feiras Program.

“Braskem exemplifies how innovation can transform not only an industry, but also the way we envision the future. Its capacity to invest in technology, sustainability, and high-impact solutions positions the company as a global benchmark and a source of pride for Brazil,” highlights Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director and Think Plastic Brazil CPO.

Through strategic initiatives, Braskem, a sponsor and supporter of Think Plastic Brazil, has invested in optimizing its naphtha-based units, expanding its gas-based operations, and making significant investments in bio-based technologies and products. For the trade fair, the company’s focus is on conveying its pioneering spirit and potential to visitors.

“K 2025 is the ideal opportunity to show how Braskem’s transformation strategy is progressing — for our operations, our partners, and the planet. By transitioning to gas and expanding our use of renewables, we are not just adapting to change, but leading the way toward a more resilient, lower-carbon future for the plastics industry,” said Roberto Ramos, CEO of Braskem.

Present in more than 40 countries, Braskem will showcase portfolio solutions that accelerate the sustainability journey:

  • I’m green™ bio-based polyethylene, EVA, and polyethylene wax, already adopted by more than 200 brands globally.
  • The rapidly growing Wenew portfolio, which features products with recycled content, has more than 55 grades and has sold over 85,000 tons of products worldwide.
  • Circular packaging design and collaborative innovation through Cazoolo, Braskem’s circular design lab.

Braskem’s Launches at K 2025:
