17 Brazilian companies travel to the fair exhibiting consumer goods industry trends in Frankfurt, Germany; the event will mark the first public exhibition of the recently awarded Color Trend® 2026 guide.
From February 6 to 10, 17 Brazilian companies associated with Think Plastic Brazil will participate in Ambiente 2026, at Messe Frankfurt, Germany. The fair is a global showcase for sustainability, creativity, design trends, exhibitions, and awards in the converted plastics sector, gathering approximately 5,000 exhibitors from around the world with innovative products and solutions.
Think Plastic Brazil is a portfolio of solutions for the converted plastics products sector in the internationalization process for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and the INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute).
In 2026, Frankfurt was designated the World Design Capital (WDC) 2026 by the World Design Organization (WDO), under the theme “Design for Democracy: Atmospheres for a better life”, focusing on how design promotes social well-being, inclusion, and urban transformation.
In this context of global design leadership, Ambiente 2026 will set the stage for the first official exhibition of Color Trend® 2026, titled “From biomes to colors, from Brazil to Brazil”. The international trend guide, signed by architect Marcelo Rosenbaum, arrives at the event with the prestige of having won the Design for a Better World Award (DFBW Award) 2025 in the Graphic Design category, reinforcing Brazil’s authority in innovation, colors, and accessibility.
Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director and Think Plastic Brazil CPO, highlights the fair’s projection: “Ambiente 2026 is a strategic and crucial stage for the Brazilian companies representing Think Plastic Brazil. Our participation is not just about exports, but about positioning Brazil within design and sustainability trends in the converted plastics sector.
