Brazilian delegation strengthens its presence in Latin America, expands commercial connections, and reinforces Brazil’s positioning as a strategic partner for the Mexican market

Think Plastic Brazil concluded its participation in Expo Pack México 2026, held from June 2 to 5 in Mexico City, achieving significant results for the Brazilian converted plastics industry. Considered one of the premier packaging and processing trade shows in Latin America, Expo Pack brought together manufacturers, distributors, buyers, and specialists from several countries, consolidating itself as a strategic environment for business generation and the strengthening of commercial relationships.

Think Plastic Brazil is a portfolio of solutions for the converted plastics sector in the internationalization process for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute).

Presenting innovative solutions for different segments of the packaging chain—including food, beverages, cosmetics, hygiene, cleaning, pharmaceuticals, and general industry—the Brazilian delegation featured 21 Brazilian companies. Among them were Antilhas, Canguru Plásticos, Copobras, Embaquim, Fibrasa, GDM Plásticos, Globoplast, Inplac, Jaguar Plásticos, Parnaplast, Valgroup, and Zaraplast, in addition to Parnaplast and Mega Goglio, which attended the trade show with their own individual booths.

During the four days of the event, the Brazilian companies conducted 583 business meetings and established 474 contacts with international buyers and partners. As a result, USD 1,095,000.00 in immediate business was generated, with an additional expectation of USD 10,550,000.00 in negotiations over the next 12 months.

The Mexican market was the primary focus of the activities carried out during the trade show, considering its relevance to the packaging industry and its growth potential. Furthermore, participation enabled the expansion of contacts with buyers from other Latin American markets, strengthening the regional presence of Brazilian companies.

For Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director and Think Plastic Brazil CPO, the results reinforce the industry’s competitive potential in the Latin American market.

“Expo Pack México is one of the main business platforms for the packaging sector in Latin America. The results achieved demonstrate the ability of Brazilian companies to meet international demands with innovation, quality, and competitiveness. Mexico remains a strategic market for the expansion of the sector’s business, and our participation in the trade show further strengthens Brazil’s positioning as a reliable partner for the region,” he states.

The overall assessment of the participation was highly positive: 95% of the companies rated the experience as very satisfactory or satisfactory, and all expressed interest in participating in future editions of the event.

The presence at Expo Pack México 2026 is part of Think Plastic Brazil’s continuous strategy to foster exports, open new markets, and expand the international insertion of Brazilian companies, strengthening Brazil’s image as a global benchmark in packaging solutions and converted plastics.
