Pack Expo International 2026, held in Chicago (USA) from October 18 to 21, brings together leading names in the sector to present technological innovations and trends shaping the future of the packaging segment. The event gathers thousands of exhibitors and visitors from over 40 industrial segments, consolidating itself as the premier business platform for the packaging and processing markets in North America.
In this context, the presence of Think Plastic Brazil — a portfolio of solutions for the internationalization of the converted plastics sector, created through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute) — reinforces the strategy to expand the insertion of the Brazilian industry into the global market.
The Brazilian delegation brings together companies from various industry segments, presenting a diversified portfolio of rigid and flexible solutions, films, systems for liquids and viscous products, as well as options focused on recyclability and sustainability. In the Think Plastic Brazil collective booth, 14 industries participate, representing 13 different brands: Polionda, Nanox Tecnologia, Lion Group, Splack, Wyda, FFS Filmes, Embaquim, GDM Plásticos, Parnaplast, Spiltag, Zaraplast, Packing Group, and Valgroup (which is attending with two manufacturing plants).
In addition to the national pavilion, the strength of the Brazilian industry is further reinforced by portfolio brands participating in the fair with their own booths: Mega Goglio and Oben Group (represented at the event with two of its manufacturing units).
The group’s diversity reflects the maturity and innovative capacity of the Brazilian market in the face of global demands. More than a technological showcase, the trade show enables closer ties with international buyers and distributors, opening doors to strategic partnerships.
Among the participants, Think Plastic Brazil highlights a team of Experts formed by Embaquim, GDM Plásticos, Mega Goglio, Oben Group, Parnaplast, Spiltag, Valgroup, Zaraplast, and Packing Group. These companies arrive at the fair backed by consolidated track records and portfolios aimed at the most diverse packaging industry applications.
For Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director and Think Plastic Brazil CPO, attendance at international trade shows is decisive for consolidating the country on the global stage.
“Taking Brazilian companies to internationally relevant events is a way to expand our industry’s visibility and bring solutions developed in the country closer to new markets and opportunities. The Brazilian participation in PACK EXPO reinforces the competitiveness of the national converted plastics industry in one of the world’s most strategic packaging markets. Our goal is to expand commercial connections, strengthen the sector’s image, and showcase how Brazilian companies have been developing innovative solutions aligned with global demands for efficiency and sustainability,” states Moreira.
Attendance at Pack Expo International 2026 is part of the calendar of global actions promoted by Think Plastic Brazil throughout the year. The initiative reaffirms the commitment to support national industries in their internationalization process, identifying opportunities and generating new business in the international market.
