Think Plastic Brazil — the portfolio of solutions for the internationalization of the converted plastics sector, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and the INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute) — announces the participation of ten Brazilian companies in the upcoming edition of Gran Salón Ferretero 2026. The event will take place from November 5 to 7 in Bogotá, Colombia.
Regarded as one of Latin America’s premier showcases and meeting points for the hardware, civil construction, tools, and electrical materials sectors, the event brings together manufacturers, distributors, and buyers from across the region. Brazilian participation seeks to strengthen strategic partnerships, open new commercial fronts, and expand the presence of domestic brands in the Latin American market.
The Brazilian delegation will bring together 10 companies from the sector: Atlas Pincéis, Enerbras, Fame, Fortlev, Mar-Girius Controles Elétricos, Roto & Fermax, SFOR, Soprano, Unipega, and Grupo Vellore.
For Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director and Think Plastic Brazil CPO, consistent participation in strategic regional trade shows is essential for the sector’s expansion: “Colombia is one of the priority markets for Brazilian companies in the civil construction and electrical materials sectors. Our presence at Gran Salón Ferretero allows us to expand business in a region that has strong logistical and trade integration with Andean and Central American countries,” he highlights.
Featuring a diversified portfolio, the Brazilian delegation will present solutions ranging from painting tools and electrical components to water tanks, door and window hardware, locks, and high-performance adhesives.
