Carlos Moreira speaks at RosUpack Summit in Russia on Global Packaging Markets Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute (INP) Executive Director and Think Plastic Brazil CPO, spoke on November 20 at the RosUpack Summit in Moscow, Russia, on “Global Packaging Markets: New Realities and International Experience.” The panel was divided into three parts, covering sustainability, digitalization , and emerging trends; Brazil’s position, industrial clusters, and export opportunities; and Think Plastic Brazil as an internationalization program. During the World Plastic Connection Summit® in April 2025, Carlos met with Dmitry Shishanov, the event’s technical manager, initiating strategic contacts. Think Plastic Brazil is a portfolio of solutions for the converted plastics sector in the internationalization process for target markets, created through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and the INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute). “Participating in the RosUpack Summit is a strategic opportunity to present Brazil’s vision during one of the most dynamic moments for the global packaging industry. The RosUpack Summit is a platform for obtaining up-to-date information on the dynamic scenario of packaging production, use, and disposal, as well as serving to maintain and expand commercial relationships between market experts, suppliers, and packaging solution clients. It is held under the auspices of Russia and the CIS countries’ largest international exhibition, RosUpack, a packaging industry trade fair successfully held since 1996, which is expected to attract 30,416 unique visitors and 1,037 participating companies in 2025.
