Companies double expectations of business at PACK EXPO LAS VEGAS 2019

With 334 meetings held and USD1.25 million generated during the event (31% more than in 2018), the 12 companies participating in Pack Expo Las Vegas doubled their expectations of businesses for the coming year compared to the last edition of the event: U$D13.6 million are expected for the period against U$D6.5 million in 2018.
The following companies participated in the event: Braskem (sponsor); Destak Big Bag; Europackne; FFS Films; GDM; Lord Brasil; Parnaplast; Plaszom; Polo Films; Splack; Vitopel do Brasil and Zaraplast. The companies had meeting with over 16 countries: Saudi Arabia; Argentina; Canada; Chile; China; Colombia; South Korea; Costa Rica; USA; India; Japan; Mexico; Panama; Puerto Rico; Dominican Republic and Taiwan.
Sustainability
During the event, Braskem presented products Green Plastic and Green EVA, both resins produced from sugar cane. It also used the logo I’m green™, which acknowledges products made with renewable resin. To use the seal, the piece must contain at least 51% of renewable material.
