The fourth edition of the World Plastic Connection Summit will take place from April 8 to 10, 2025, in a hybrid format, in São Paulo, and registration is now open for free. The event is promoted by Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions for the plastic-converted products sector in the process of internationalization for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute).
The IV World Plastic Connection Summit is made up of an ecosystem of 8 projects that connect to foster internationalization and networking, enabling participating companies to expand internationally. Among the projects, the Hybrid International Seminar stands out, a seminar that promotes strategic meetings with speakers focused on the areas of economy, innovation, design, sustainability, governance and social aspects.

Dijon de Moraes is confirmed as a speaker for the Hybrid International Seminar at the next edition of the World Plastic Connection Summit, at the round table “Global Strategies for Sustainable Plastic Design”, which will be held on April 8, 2025.
Dijon is a designer, writer, lecturer and professor. He holds a PhD in design from the Politecnico di Milano (Italy), with a post-doctorate from the same institute, and is also Professor Emeritus at the State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG), where he was Rector for two consecutive terms. Dijon is the author of the award-winning books: Limites do Design (Studio Nobel, 1997); Análise do design brasileiro (Blucher, 2006); Metaprojeto: o design do design (Blucher, 2010); and Escritos de Design (Blucher, 2021). In 2019, he received the title of “Cavalieri dell ́Ordine della Stella di Italia” from the Italian government.
