At the IV World Plastic Connection Summit, held by Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions for the converted plastic products sector in the internationalization process for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade Promotion Agency and Investments) and INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute), Drummond stands out as presenter of the fourth edition of the Summit, promoting an internationalization approach in the converted plastics sector.

During the Color Trend 2025 launch event and pre-launch of the IV World Plastic Connection Summit, Maikon Izabel, head of operations at Drummond, emphasized the importance of this partnership and the company’s ambitious goals in the global market.

“Our goal is to support companies that want to export their products and establish a solid and lasting presence in the international market,” explained Maikon. He highlighted that internationalization is a strategic path chosen by Think Plastic Brazil, supported by Summit, and that Drummond is committed to promoting this process among its initiatives.

Maikon Izabel also highlighted the importance of a long-term approach to internationalization. “We believe that companies that truly establish themselves in the US, for example, are more likely to succeed than those that only carry out occasional exports,” he said. He highlighted that this strategy is not limited to just expanding markets, but also involves adapting to the local culture and market, essential for the company’s sustainable growth abroad.

Participating in the pre-launch of the fourth edition of the Summit reinforced Drummond’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the plastics sector, providing a platform to share knowledge and best practices with industry leaders and professionals. The company emphasized its role as a manufacturer and facilitator of the economic growth and global competitiveness of Brazilian companies in the converted plastics market.

The partnership between Drummond and the World Plastic Connection Summit demonstrates a strategic alignment to drive the Brazilian plastics industry towards global leadership, promoting high quality products and innovative solutions that meet the demands of international markets. The Summit continues to be a vital platform for collaboration, learning and expanding horizons in the plastics sector, reaffirming Brazil’s commitment to excellence and sustainability on the global stage.
