Expo Pack México boosts business for Think Plastic Brazil members, totaling US$ 829 thousand

Expo Pack 2024 was a highlight event for Think Plastic Brazil members, resulting in significant business totaling US$ 829 thousand. Held from June 4th to 7th at EXPO Santa Fe, in Mexico City, the fair is recognized as the main packaging sector meeting in the region, attracting buyers from all over Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

During the four days of this year’s event, Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions that support the converted plastic products sector in the internationalization process for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute), coordinated the presence of 28 renowned Brazilian companies, they are: Antilhas Embalagens, Canguru Embalagens, Copobras S/A, Cristal Embalagens, Cristal Master, Cromex S/A, Embaquim , Fibrasa S.A, GDM Indústria e Comércio, Globoplast, Igaratiba, Inplasul, Jaguar Plásticos, Mello Descartáveis, Multinova, Parnaplast, Plaszom, Pulit, Rafitec/Propex, Replas, Sílica Sul, Teixeira Têxtil and Zaraplast. Valgroup and Videplast had more than one group company present at the fair.

Together, these companies generated more than 700 new commercial contacts and achieved a total of 829 thousand dollars in business carried out during the fair. Furthermore, projections for next year indicate a business potential of US$12.5 million, with 24 deals already concluded and an expectation of closing 191 additional deals.

Expo Pack México reaffirms Mexico’s leadership position in the plastic packaging market and consolidates Think Plastic Brazil’s commitment to promoting innovation, design and sustainability. As part of its strategic planning, the YearBook (online catalog) of supported companies was disseminated and Color Trend colors were used at the stand, highlighting innovations and trends in the sector.
