IV World Plastic Connection Summit, the largest international event in the Brazilian converted plastics sector, is now open for free registration

The fourth edition of the World Plastic Connection Summit will take place from April 8 to 10, 2025, in a hybrid format, in São Paulo, and registration is now open for free. The event is promoted by Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions for the converted plastic products sector in the process of internationalization for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and INP (Brazilian Plastics Institute).

 “This edition of the World Plastic Connection Summit is focused on innovation and demonstrates the maturity of the Brazilian converted plastics sector in the eyes of the world. The event’s eight projects connect to foster internationalization and networking, enabling participating companies to expand internationally,” says Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director & Think Plastic Brazil CPO.

Among the various strategic solutions promoted by Think Plastic Brazil, the IV World Plastic Connection Summit brings together an ecosystem with independent projects that guarantee connections, visibility and business for plastic industries. Check out the ecosystem’s eight global projects.

 

April 8th

Hybrid International Seminar: Technical seminar in a hybrid format with the presence of excellent and renowned speakers from the sector. The guests share valuable insights on economics, innovation, design, sustainability, governance and social aspects, training companies for internationalization. In addition, the seminar promotes strategic networking for participants, with the exchange of experiences and the fostering of partnerships. The talks are translated into three languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Color Trend: Guide to color trends that refer to the specificities and stories of Brazil to the world, exploring its riches, diversity, cultures, biomes, customs and cuisine.

International Yearbook: Yearbook with relevant information about the sector and highlights of associated companies, distributed to more than 120 countries.

International Award: International award that recognizes Brazilian companies that are standing out in the internationalization process. Applications are open until September 12th at this link. The award seeks to encourage competitiveness in the local and global market, recognizing achievements and motivating the continued promotion of practices that support international expansion.

Buyers Project International Show: Meetings with international buyers, selected according to the profile of the associated companies to generate business.

Consulting Clinics: On-site technical support, with essential services for the internationalization process, supporting companies that have not yet exported and those that are already internationalized.

Technical Visits: Technical visits by international buyers and journalists to companies associated with Think Plastic Brazil.

Image Promotion: international journalists and opinion makers will be present to learn about and promote the competitive advantages of companies in the Brazilian plastics sector.

The event is the largest platform in the Americas for the plastics industries in the agribusiness, toys and childcare, construction, packaging, supplies and housewares sectors. This edition’s theme will be “Converted plastic from Brazil: coloring the world with design, innovation and sustainability”

The IV World Plastic Connection Summit will be held in a hybrid format, allowing remote participation for those who are not in São Paulo.
