New Color Trend will be creatively directed by architect Gabriela de Matos and will be launched in June

Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions for the converted plastic products sector in the industrialization process for target markets, the result of a partnership between the National Plastics Institute (INP) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), which aims to support plastic converting industries at their different levels of maturity to develop and expand their international presence, will launch Color Trend 2025, an international study of color trends, during Fispal Tecnologia 2024 (Fispaltec), on June 21st. For the international audience, the content will be broadcast live with translation into English and Spanish. The registration is on the website https://wpcs.thinkplasticbrazil.com/en/.

The publication has already been signed by big names in national fashion and design, such as Walter Rodrigues, Alexandre Herchcovitch and Jum Nakao, and this year it will be curated by award-winning architect Gabriela de Matos, creator of the Arquitetas Negras project and TV presenter.

Her inspiring professional trajectory and her passion for architecture make her an exceptional choice to lead Color Trend 2025”, highlights Carlos Moreira, executive director of the National Plastics Institute (INP) and Think Plastic Brazil projects. “With her sensitivity to topics such as gender, identity and race, I’m confident she will bring an innovative and authentic perspective to this year’s color trends”, he completes.

During the event, Think Plastic Brazil will also hold the pre-launch of the IV World Plastic Connection Summit, the main Brazilian meeting for the converted plastics industrial sector, offering workshops aimed at companies in the sector, including the agribusiness, toys and childcare verticals, domestic utilities, civil construction, packaging and supplies.

  • 2:30 pm to 3:20 pm – Presentation of trends: Design and Sustainability of the Ambiente e The Inspired Home Show Platforms & Importance of the Center for Design with Innovation and Sustainability, carried out by designers Marco Lobo and Jum Nakao
  • 3:25 pm to 3:40 pm – Pre-launch of the World Plastic Connection Summit 2025 by Carlos Moreira, executive director of INP and Think Plastic Brazil projects
  • 3:40 pm to 5 pm – Launch of Color Trend 2025, by Gabriela de Matos, award-winning architect, creator of the Arquitetas Negras project, author and TV presenter
