Partnership between the World Plastic Connection Summit and Simplavi boosts the converted plastics sector in Brazil

Strategic Alliances

The World Plastic Connection Summit, the main Brazilian meeting for the converted plastics industrial sector, an event promoted by Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions for the converted plastic products sector in the internationalization process for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and INP (Brazilian Plastics Institute), signed a strategic partnership with the Plastic Material Industries Union of Vale dos Vinhedos (Simplavi).

Founded in 2002 and located in the Bento Gonçalves Business Center, Simplavi is recognized as a representative of the plastic economic category, with a scope that reaches several industries in Bento Gonçalves and neighboring cities. With a commitment to professional qualification, the defense of the category’s interests and a dynamic calendar of events, the union plays an important role in the development and promotion of the plastic converting sector in the region.

The World Plastic Connection Summit and Simplavi are important players in the national and regional plastics scenario, working together to promote the export of Brazilian products, explore international opportunities and increase the competitiveness and productivity of industries in the sector. “Our partnership with Simplavi, as well as with all the Unions, Associations and Institutes with which we are collaborating, aims to further strengthen Brazil’s position in the global converted plastics market”, comments Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director & Think Plastic Brazil CPO.

With high expectations for the IV World Plastic Connection Summit, this collaboration promises to strengthen the foundations of the converted plastics industrial sector and open new doors for sustainable economic growth through exports.
