Rafitec is present at Agrofest 2024, in Peru, with support from Think Plastic Brazil

Between the 12th and 14th of June, Rafitec, one of the leaders in the production of polypropylene packaging, synthetic fabrics and agricultural films, was present at Agrofest 2024, held in Lima, Peru. The company’s participation in the fair was possible through the support of Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions for the converted plastic products sector in the process of internationalization for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and the INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute), promoting the competitiveness of Brazilian industry on the international stage.

Agrofest, organized by the Association of Agricultural Producers’ Guilds of Peru (AGAP), stands out as an event of great importance in the country. The fair brings together lectures from industry leaders and discussion panels on topics such as agricultural production, plant health, technology, innovation and markets, as well as demonstrations of essential equipment and machinery for agribusiness.

During the fair, Rafitec displayed a range of products that attracted the attention of participants, including new solutions in polypropylene packaging, essential for the preservation and transport of agricultural products. The synthetic fabrics and agricultural films presented by the company have also demonstrated potential to improve efficiency and sustainability in agricultural operations.

Giselle Rios, representative of Rafitec Propex, commented: “This was my first participation in Agrofest and I was impressed by the diversity of products offered, from equipment to food. The event was very busy; at our stand, we received many visitors, with whom I established contacts and have already received some quotes for potential business.”

Support for the company’s presence at the third edition of Agrofest is part of Think Plastic Brazil’s strategic planning, which included the creation of promotional artwork for the YearBook. These marketing actions aim to increase the company’s visibility and highlight its high-quality, innovative products and commitment to sustainability.
