The Americas Online Business Mission had its meetings extended to July 19, especially due to the volume of scheduled meetings. In total, there were around 250 virtual meetings between 32 buyers from 9 countries and supplier companies participating in the project, all from the retail verticals (Toys, Construction, and Housewares). “We are increasingly adapting our tools to offer a complete service to the Brazilian converted plastics industries, creating an ideal – and safe – environment for business, even with the distance imposed by the pandemic, “ said Daniela Ornelas, market specialist for verticals.
For Marcio Loatti, from Lolly Baby, the “2021 Americas Online Mission was a valuable opportunity, with numerous contacts from companies that are interested in our products, especially from Colombia, Guatemala, and Peru. We have good prospects for establishing partnerships with these companies. This was a thoroughly organized event, which is essential in these times of pandemic, when it is virtually impossible to visit potential customers.”
Elaine Cristina Setti, export manager at Viqua, explained that the action made it possible to resume contact with several buyers who were far away, mainly due to the pandemic: “The contacts established were of a high level, and the mission allowed us to resume contacts with many potential buyers. It was the event with the best results that I have ever attended,” she said.
