The second edition of the World Plastic Connection Summit brought together innovation and knowledge for the plastics industry, highlighting the awards given by member companies of Think Plastic Brazil

Held in November, the 2nd World Plastic Connection Summit provided one of the best innovation experiences for the plastics industry. The event, which took place in São Paulo, brought together member companies of Think Plastic Brazil and generated a positive balance in the dissemination of knowledge.

One of the companies contemplated was Nova A3, which works in the field of gloves, packaging inserts, and flexible packaging. According to Gladstone Santos Junior, the company’s Coordinator, the event met all expectations.

The Coordinator highlights that “the event fully met our expectations, with relevant lectures and presentations with direct application in the daily activities of the manufacturing industry. It was a special moment to rethink and redirect strategic actions.”

He further claimed: “The event was one of the first that I attended with the return of face-to-face activities. It featured surprising, relevant and super engaging content, to the point where we barely noticed the time pass.”

Thus, the coordinator believes that the climate of recent years has led to low expectations for the event. Nevertheless, the event execution and final results far exceeded expectations.

According to him, the major difference of the seminar were its very interesting lectures with an emphasis on “Innovations in Packaging in the Global Market” and “Infinite Organizations.”

Other major highlights of the event were the exchange with potential buyers, the launch of Color Trend (a registered trademark of the plastic industry in Brazil), as well as the International Award, which acknowledged the efforts of Brazilian companies in the internationalization process.
