Participation in the Western world’s largest trade fair for converted plastics consolidates Brazil as a benchmark for innovation and sustainability in the sector

Think Plastic Brazil — a portfolio of solutions that supports the internationalization of the country’s converted plastics sector, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and the INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute) — led the participation of Brazilian companies to K 2025, the largest trade fair for converted plastics supplies in the Western world, in conjunction with the ApexBrasil +Feiras Program. The initiative generated US$800,000 in immediate business and US$14.6 million in business prospects for the next 12 months.

“Brazil’s participation in K 2025 demonstrated the strength and competitiveness of our converted plastics industry. The impressive results reinforce the importance of Brazil’s continued presence at strategic international events, consolidating our image as a provider of sustainable and innovative solutions for the global market,” states Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director and Think Plastic Brazil CPO.

During the event, US$800,000 in immediate business was generated, along with US$14.6 million in business prospects for the next 12 months. Additionally, 465 new business contacts were established, and 847 business meetings were held. The space received approximately 300 visitors per day, including decision-makers and representatives from major international players. Several contracts were signed during the fair, consolidating the effectiveness of the Brazilian presence.

The Brazilian Colors & Solutions space, promoted and organized by Think Plastic Brazil and ApexBrasil, with support from ABIPLAST (Brazilian Processed Plastic and Recycling Industry), brought together the companies Colorfix, Cromex, LordTech, Raposo Plásticos, and Valgroup. These companies showcased innovative case studies and sustainable solutions for the sector, reinforcing Brazil’s image as an important global supplier of technology and design in converted plastics. Nanox, another company affiliated with Think Plastic Brazil, also participated with its own booth, showcasing its products and services.

The 2025 edition of the K-Fair attracted over 175,000 trade visitors from approximately 160 countries, with 10,000 coming from the United States and Brazil. The event once again stood out for the high level of qualification of its audience: 67% were decision-makers. According to the event’s preliminary survey, 95% of visitors reported achieving their objectives at the trade fair, and 98% rated the range of products and services as excellent or very satisfactory, underscoring the high levels of satisfaction and the notable presence of market leaders and innovative companies.

The Brazilian pavilion also presented Color Trend 2026®, an international guide to color trends for the converted plastics industry, created by designer Marcelo Rosenbaum, reinforcing Brazil’s position as a benchmark in design, sustainability, and innovation in the sector.
