One of the largest trade fairs dedicated to Civil Construction promises to expand the internationalization of Brazilian products to the Arab world, North and East Africa
Think Plastic Brazil is participating for the second time in Big 5 Global, one of the Middle East’s largest trade fairs focused on the construction and infrastructure sector, from November 24 to 27 at the Dubai World Trade Center. Four Brazilian companies will showcase innovations in civil construction, finishing, and geosynthetics.
Think Plastic Brazil is a portfolio of solutions for the converted plastics sector in the internationalization process for target markets, created through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and the INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute).
“Participation in Big 5 Global 2025 is a strategic opportunity to strengthen Brazil’s international presence and expand our activities in the construction and infrastructure sector. The event opens doors to new partnerships and business, especially in a booming market like the Middle East. Undoubtedly, the Big 5 is an essential space for those seeking growth, strategic connections, and staying current in an increasingly competitive global scenario,” declares Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director and Think Plastic Brazil CPO.
Participation in Big 5 Global, one of the largest and most recognized fairs in the sector, offers significant global visibility, allowing companies to expand their brand and reach a diverse international audience. The event also provides an ideal environment for networking with industry professionals, market leaders, and decision-makers, facilitating strategic partnerships and new business opportunities. Furthermore, participating in the event allows companies to stay updated on innovation and sector trends, increasing their competitiveness.
With a high concentration of qualified buyers, the fair is an effective platform for closing deals and, given its strategic location in the Middle East, offers the chance to explore growth in the regional market. The participating Brazilian companies are Atlas Pinceis, Azul Pack, Enerbras, and Grupo Force, and they will be located in the Za’abeel Hall 3 pavilion, stand Z3 A294, at the Dubai World Trade Center.
Think Plastic Brazil’s first participation in the fair, in 2024, resulted in 96 meetings held, 92 new contacts, and US$750,000 in expected business to be generated from the event for the associated companies present over the following 12 months. With this, the portfolio intends to further increase the number of meetings and deals in the 2025 edition.
