Think Plastic Brazil Expands Business Connections in Colombia with Participation at Andina Pack 2025

Seven Brazilian companies will participate in South America’s leading trade fair for packaging and converting supplies, in Bogotá, from November 4 to 7

From November 4 to 7, 2025, seven Brazilian companies associated with Think Plastic Brazil will participate in the Andina Pack International Fair in Bogotá, Colombia. The companies will receive operational, intelligence, and communications support from Think Plastic Brazil, showcasing their products and innovations from the plastics converting sector at one of South America’s leading trade fairs for packaging and converting supplies, which targets Colombia, the Andean countries, and the Caribbean.

Think Plastic Brazil is a portfolio of solutions that supports the internationalization of Brazil’s plastics converting sector, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and the INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute).

Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director and Think Plastic Brazil CPO, comments on the fair’s importance: “Andina Pack is a strategic platform to strengthen the presence of Brazilian companies in Latin America, particularly in a market like Colombia, which has shown increasing receptiveness to sustainable and technological packaging solutions. Participating in this event consolidates our competitiveness and expands qualified business connections in the region.

Andina Pack is a biennial event organized by Corferias and Koelnmesse for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic processing industries, offering solutions, technologies, packaging, printing, and labeling for the regional market. It is the leading platform for establishing qualified business contacts in the processing, manufacturing, and packaging sectors. In 2025, the fair is expected to welcome more than 20,000 visitors and will feature over 500 exhibitors from 24 countries.

The Brazilian companies participating are: Cristal Embalagens (Hall 18-23, Booth 502B), Embaquim (Hall 18-23, Booth 445A), Globoplast (Hall 18-23, Booth 506B), Mega Goglio (Hall 18-23, Booth 545A), Oben Group (Hall 3, Level 1, Booth 102), Videplast (Hall 18-23, Booth 345A), and Wyda (Hall 18-23, Booth 348A).

In the plastics converting sector, export data from companies associated with Think Plastic Brazil reinforce Colombia’s strategic importance. Between January and July 2024, exports reached US$39.86 million, totaling 30.17 million kilograms. In the same period in 2025, these figures rose to US$46.82 million and 36.25 million kilograms, placing Colombia as the seventh main destination for the sector’s Brazilian exports.
