Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions for the plastic-converted products sector in the internationalization process for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and INP (National Plastics Institute), was present at the press conference at the Ambiente (International Consumer Goods Fair), which takes place annually in Frankfurt, Germany. 

Ambiente is one of the largest consumer goods fairs in the world, bringing together 4,500 exhibitors from all continents to highlight elements such as sustainability, design and creativity in the sector, with presentations of design trends, as well as exhibitions and award ceremonies. The next edition will take place from February 7 to 11, 2025. 

At the press conference, the Think Plastic Brazil team, represented by Daniela Ornelas, market development specialist, and Gabriel Rajão, curator of the IV World Plastic Connection Summit, met with Julia Uherek, vice president of the Consumer Goods Fair, and Renata Torres, representative of Indexport Messe Frankfurt in Brazil. The Think Plastic Brazil team took the opportunity to present the IV World Plastic Connection Summit, the main Brazilian meeting of the converted plastics sector with an international focus, and Color Trend, an annual guide to color trends promoted by the portfolio and signed by big names in Brazilian design and architecture.   

Gabriel Rajão, curator of the IV World Plastic Connection Summit, states that the dissemination of the Summit and Color Trend to the coordination of the Ambiente fair opens up the possibility of partnerships and new actions. 

Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director & Think Plastic Brazil CPO, guarantees that “Think Plastic Brazil’s presence at Ambiente 2025 will have an immersive and exclusive experience, the Creative Tour, which will be held before the fair, with a program focused on knowledge and networking”.  

Think Plastic Brazil offers an immersive experience for the fair, the Creative Tour, which features an exclusive program before and during the event. Among the activities of the Creative Tour are guided visits to local stores, a series of lectures, and a guided tour of the fair, promoting a valuable exchange of knowledge and networking opportunities.

 

About IV World Plastic Connection Summit 

The IV World Plastic Connection Summit will take place between April 8 and 10, 2025 and is made up of a robust ecosystem of eight strategic projects that aim to boost the internationalization of the converted plastics industry towards target markets. Among the projects, the International Award stands out as the award that recognizes the industries in the sector that are protagonists in internationalization.
