Actions in selected countries, which will promote exports and internationalization of the five verticals (Agribusiness, Toys, Construction, Packaging, and Housewares), will be carried out in the 2022-2023 biennium
Think Plastic Brazil (Brazilian Converted Plastics Export and Internationalization Program), created by the INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute) in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), defined the countries that will be the focus of the activities of the sectorial project in the 2022-2023 biennium, for the five verticals supported by the program: Agribusiness, Toys, Construction, Packaging, and Housewares. The definition took place on June 24, during a virtual meeting with entrepreneurs participating in the program, coordinated by Carlos Moreira, Project Strategy and Planning Manager, and presentation of data and market studies by Pedro Piá de Andrade, analyst at Apex-Brasil.
“Think Plastic Brazil showed a quick response to the insulation needs brought by the pandemic, directing efforts to new and modern forms of interaction and negotiation and promoting the continuity of investments by the converted plastic industries in the international market. The moment now favors the expansion of actions, search for new markets, and focus on internationalization and improvement of industries, aiming at defined markets,” said Carlos Moreira.
For each vertical, a maximum of 8 priority and 6 secondary markets were defined, as follows:

Priority markets
Argentina; Chile; Colombia; Ecuador; U.S.; Ghana; Mexico; and Peru.
Secondary markets
South Africa; Canada; Guatemala; and Nigeria.
