Ambiente 2023 took place on February 3-7, 2023 in Frankfurt, Germany, with the participation of 21 Brazilian companies participating in Think Plastic Brazil. Together, the companies reported almost $670,000 in sales during the event, with an expectation a further $3.4 million for the next 12 months. Over 385 meetings were held, 307 of which were based on new contacts.
Brazilian participation at the fair featured several parallel actions, including the Retail Tour (guided visit to points of sale in Frankfurt), the Promenade (guided visit to the pavilions of the event), the Cycle of Lectures (in partnership with the Consulate of Brazil in Frankfurt), the presence of the press office at the fair and the holding of a happy hour with journalists and opinion makers on the first day of the event. Elter Nehemias Barbosa, Deputy Consul of Brazil in Frankfurt, also visited the exhibiting companies alongside Maria Flavia do Amaral, responsible for the Trade and Investment Promotion Sector. They were welcomed by Carlos Moreira, Manager of Think Plastic Brazil, and portfolio specialist Daniela Ornelas.

Focus on sustainability
A number of actions focused on sustainability were conducted during the fair, including a space dedicated to the Braskem 360 project, an immersive experience in the multiverse, with all the company’s activities focusing on the topic. Additionally, a series of reports made by the specialized website Plástico Virtual were included in the Yearbook 2022 of Think Plastic Brazil, prioritizing the topic among the winners of the World Plastic Connection Award. The materials were made available for download in the three languages through QR Codes posted on the booth walls.
