From June 2 to 5, Think Plastic Brazil coordinates the participation of a Brazilian delegation at Expo Pack México 2026, one of the premier international gatherings for the packaging and processing sectors in Latin America, to be held in Mexico City. The event brings together manufacturers, distributors, buyers, and specialists from several countries, establishing itself as a strategic platform for business generation and networking.
Think Plastic Brazil is a portfolio of solutions for the converted plastics products sector in the internationalization process for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and the INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute).
Brazil’s participation in the trade show aims to strengthen the presence of the domestic converted plastics industry in the Latin American market, expanding commercial connections and showcasing solutions and innovations aligned with the sector’s main global demands. The initiative also reinforces the country’s role as a competitive supplier prepared to serve international markets with high quality.
At Expo Pack México 2026, Think Plastic Brazil coordinates the participation of 20 Brazilian companies, presenting solutions tailored for different segments of the packaging chain, including food, beverages, cosmetics, personal care, household cleaning, pharmaceuticals, and general industry.
The main highlight of the show is the opportunity to connect packaging suppliers with strategic buyers from all over Latin America, especially from the Mexican market, which is considered one of the most relevant industrial hubs in the region. The Brazilian participation seeks to expand the presence of national companies in markets with high growth potential and to strengthen long-term commercial relationships.
Beyond institutional visibility, the expectation is to generate concrete export opportunities, prospect distributors, and open new markets for the participating companies. This action is part of Think Plastic Brazil’s ongoing strategy to foster international business, encourage exports, and promote Brazil’s image as a benchmark for innovation and competitiveness in the converted plastics sector.
“Expo Pack México is currently one of the main gateways for the Brazilian converted plastics industry into Latin America. Think Plastic Brazil will take 20 Brazilian companies to the 2026 edition at an extremely strategic moment, with the Mexican market recording an annual growth of around 14% and expanding its relevance for the sector’s exports. Our participation reinforces Brazil’s positioning as a competitive, innovative supplier prepared to meet international demands,” states Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director & Think Plastic Brazil CPO.
