Think Plastic Brazil, on a prospective mission, visits The National Hardware Show in Las Vegas

Prospective Mission

In line with one of its premises of inserting new actions in the civil construction vertical, Carlos Moreira, Brazilian Plastic Institute Executive Director & Think Plastic Brazil CPO, a portfolio of solutions for the plastic converted products sector in the industrialization process for target markets, carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute), visited the The National Hardware Show. The fair took place between March 26th and 28th, in Las Vegas, in the United States. The representative was present to prospect his participation and that of his associates in the 2025 edition.

The event, widely known for its innovations in the ironworks and hardware sector, brought together 1,462 exhibitors from 20 countries, including some Brazilians associated with Think Plastic Brazil, who showed up at the fair: Atlas, Comfort Door, Floridis and Itacorda.

For the first time in Las Vegas, the experience for Comfort Door was very productive, an example of the importance of companies investing in their internationalization. “It really is a fair with lots of business and networking opportunities. We are very pleased with the results obtained, with the new leads and the introduction of our products in this market”, says Gabriela Mattos, the company’s marketing coordinator.

Itacorda stood out with an innovative product, designed precisely for the North American DIY (do it yourself) market. It is a rope made from recycled PET bottles: 16 units are used for every kilo of ecological rope produced.

The product packaging is also a display and dispenser, created as a result of a partnership with ApexBrasil’s Design Export program, initiated during the export clinics parallel to the Buyer Project promoted by Think Plastic Brazil. “The case reiterates the direction that the portfolio believes is crucial for the positioning of companies in global markets: innovation, sustainability and strategic design. To achieve this, the Portfolio plans to create a specific design and innovation hub.” Details Carlos Moreira.

The executive states that The National Hardware Show is an essential fair for companies targeting the North American market and should enter the portfolio calendar in 2025. “It is an invaluable platform, which attracts highly qualified visitors interested in establishing commercial connections. With exclusive entry for professionals in the sector, the fair establishes itself as a favorable environment for business”, he points out. The event will take place between March 18 and 20, 2025.

A fair that brings together different segments in Las Vegas

The National Hardware Show joined the International Builders’ Show (IBS) and the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in 2023. The merger consolidated the fair as one of the best for the hardware, construction, ironworks and interior design sectors. This year the event was attended by 1,462 exhibitors from 20 countries, such as Germany, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Korea, United States, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, England, Iran, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Pakistan, Taiwan and Vietnam.
