Think Plastic Brazil prepares event schedule parallel to The Inspired Home Show

Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions for the plastic products sector in the industrialization process for target markets, through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency) and INP (National Plastic Institute), organized parallel activities for the 30 member companies that will participate in The Inspired Home Show, in Chicago, in the United States.

Anticipating the immersion of exhibitors, March 15th begins with the Retail Tour guided visits to retail stores. The program is led by Marco Lobo, a specialist with 20 years of experience in public design policies and international commercial promotion, acting as advisor to the Brazilian Design Program. The itinerary also features the presence of Jum Nakao, the designer responsible for organizing the closing ceremony of the Olympics in London and the opening of the Olympics in Brazil. The experts will point out the trends and news in the sector.  

Soon after, at 4pm, the Lecture Series will begin in collaboration with the Brazilian Consulate in the United States. Ambassador Reinaldo Salgado will welcome companies in the new area of the consulate, located next to the emblematic Apple Store. “The event will feature the participation of renowned speakers, including the newest partner in the Think Plastic Brazil internationalization process, Drummond Advisors”, says Carlos Moreira, executive director of the National Plastics Institute and Think Plastic Brazil projects. “Marcelo Carrullo, partner at Drummond, will reveal to associates insights into competitiveness strategies for companies to launch themselves in the markets of the Americas.” Adriano Braun, vice-president of Sylver Consulting, a company that has been offering design, market research and strategy consultancy in Chicago, the United States and Brazil for 20 years, will provide an overview of the North American market. 

During the fair, on March 18th, at 11 am, exhibitors and visitors will be taken through the Promenade tour, visiting the main exhibitors of The Inspired Home Show 2024 accompanied by experts from Think Plastic Brazil.

This diverse program aims to strengthen the presence of Brazilian companies in the international market, promoting design, innovation and sustainability, reiterating Think Plastic Brazil’s commitment to supporting the processed plastics sector and boosting the success of member companies.
