With two big islands and an institutional space, Think Plastic Brazil was present at Colombiaplast 2022, which took place on September 26-30 of this year in Bogotá, Colombia. The portfolio of solutions that support the converted plastic products sector in the process of internationalization to target markets, created by the INP (National Plastics Institute) in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), supported the participation of 30 companies at the event.

“Think Plastic Brazil reported high attendance to the press, which demonstrates the strength of the Brazilian market in the country. Additionally, our exhibitors achieved $925 thousand in deals with the expectation of another $31,5 million over the next 12 months,” explained Carlos Moreira, Manager of Think Plastic Brazil.

“We are in Colombia with the certainty that INPLASUL has all the conditions to serve the market and that the event offers unique opportunities to reach large buyers,” said Alexandre Zanneti, from Inplasul.

“We are participating for the fourth time in Colombiaplast and we know that the results are always excellent. We bet on the logistic belt for the cargo lashing segment and we are having excellent returns from the buyers present,” said Marcelo Iargas, from Itacorda.

Mauricio Goulart, from Grupo Copobras, stated that the company “has been present in the Colombian market for 17 years, growing more and more in the country with each edition of the fair.”

Bruno Cioato Polidoro highlighted “the fully recyclable barrier films that provide protection while maintaining recyclability. It is one of the main attractions for the Colombian market, which is attentive to the sustainability trend.”

Dienefer dos Santos, who accompanied Pabovi,  recalled that the “company already exports to Colombia, but the participation in the fair allows us to reinforce our commitment and expand our market in the country.”

For Gabriela Smania, from Plaszom, “the rigid products line is the main innovation sought by Colombians, who are looking for diversity, especially in trays for ready-to-eat food and hamburgers, in the PP, High Barrier and PET lines.”
