Think Plastic Brazil Projects US$ 2.2 Million in Exports After Success at Ambiente Fair 2026

With a focus on sustainable design and innovation, the Brazilian delegation coordinated by Think Plastic Brazil (Brazilian Converted Plastics Export and Internationalization Program) in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) established more than 340 new commercial contacts and consolidated the “Brasil” brand as a benchmark for added value in the European market. Think Plastic Brazil—a portfolio of solutions for the internationalization of the Brazilian converted plastics sector created by ApexBrasil in partnership with the INP (Brazilian Plastic Institute) —concluded its participation in the Ambiente Fair 2026 with results that reaffirm the competitiveness and prestige of the national industry abroad. During the five-day event in Frankfurt, the program coordinated a delegation of 17 companies that achieved an impressive US$ 2,265,000.00 in business expectations for the next 12 months. This solid performance reflects Think Plastic Brazil’s strategy of converting sustainable design and technological innovation into high-value commercial assets for the global market. Strategic Impact in Frankfurt The Brazilian participation occurred at a moment of unique visibility, as Frankfurt was designated the World Design Capital in 2026. Capitalizing on this scenario, the Brazilian companies held a total of 414 meetings and established 340 new commercial contacts. In addition to future projections, the presence at the fair resulted in US$ 175,000.00 in immediate business, demonstrating the readiness of national industries to meet the instant demands of international buyers. A major highlight of this edition was the public exhibition of the Color Trend® 2026 guide, titled “From Biomes to Colors, From Brazil to Brazil”.
